The thermometer provides an accurate live temperature reading as soon as the probe is inserted, with a range from -20°C to 250°C (-4°F to 122°F). For convenience, the display can be locked by pressing the power button once, showing a "HOLD" sign; pressing it again returns to live measurement mode.
For hygiene, wipe the probe with a clean cloth and soapy water or an antibacterial wipe before and after use. After cleaning, rotate the probe back to its storage position where it will safely store in your cutlery drawer, hang on a utensil rack, or attach magnetically to your cooker hood or refrigerator thanks to the built-in magnet in the case.
The thermometer comes with 2 LR44 batteries included, which are easily replaceable.
