Since 2017, Oliva Cigar Co. has released a limited edition Serie V Melanio for its non-American markets. This year’s version has a slightly different name, it’s called the Serie V Melanio Edición Año 2022. It’s a 6 1/2 x 44 lonsdale; unlike the regular Melanio, which is box-pressed, the cigar is round. Like the regular Melanio blend, it uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers.
