Oliva says that the 2023-2024 crop in Jalapa, Nicaragua was warm and rainy, which produced an exceptional harvest that it says would be akin to a Grand Cru in the wine world. While the wrapper is still an Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed leaf, the tobacco inside is from that harvest.
