The Montecristo Open J Cigarwas released in 2009 alongside three other sizes as part of the Open Series from Montecristo. This series was invented to accommodate a new generation of cigar smokers who enjoyed a more casual smoke.
The Open J has the smallest vitola in the series – the Trabucos, previously only found in the Le Hoyo Series (du Deputé). It measures 110mm by a 38-ring gauge.
A medium-full tobacco blend, it is perfect for a morning or aperitif smoke or the more casual smoker.
