Sow outdoors from February to May or indoors from August to September for flowering the following spring. Direct sow outdoors where they are to flower. Choose a position in full sun on moist, well drained soil. Prepare the ground well and rake to a fine tilth before sowing. Sow 3mm (1/8") deep, in rows 30cm (12") apart. For spring/summer flowering pot plants, sow in a cool greenhouse or conservatory in late summer or early autumn. Grow on cool in full light and water sparingly. When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 15cm (6") apart.
Feed and water Limanthes regularly throughout summer.
