C. Booth and Son is one of Huddersfield's oldest independent stores. Booths started trading more than 155 years ago as an ironmonger, cutler & tool dealer, and have steadily expanded into other areas throughout the years. We are still in the very same building we started off in, which is located on Cross Church Street, close to the Kingsgate Shopping Centre.
Booths is a traditional family owned store which has built a solid reputation in the town and beyond for excellent customer service teamed with an enviable stock list. We offer a wide range of products from: Kitchen & Housewares, Garden Products, Hardware & DIY, Maglite Torches, Swiss Army Knives, Tools, Tobacco Products, and Zippo lighters. We have probably the largest range of kitchen knives in Yorkshire, including Global, Henckels, Kai Shun, Victorinox, Wusthof and many more.
Advice is always on hand, and we will always help to provide products that match your needs. Customers compliment us on our customer service and the depth of product ranges that we stock.
We offer a comprehensive keycutting service at low prices! We also offer a quality sharpening service for many products that we sell which include: Scissors, Knives, Secateurs, Garden Shears, Border Shears, Lawnmowers, Axes, Hedge Cutters, Saws etc.. Sharpening and re-grinding is done by crafstmen either in our workshop in Huddersfield or in Sheffield.
Our website features over 2000 products, which can be purchased online and delivered straight to your door. Our website surprisingly only advertises a very small proportion of what we have available in store.
